Course Information
The CBR-ESOR Breast Imaging Visiting Professorship course aims to provide a comprehensive update on breast imaging regarding the BI-RADS scoring system, the use of digital breast tomosynthesis, the value of contrast imaging techniques for breast staging, the strategy for breast screening in high-risk women, tips and tricks in post-operative and breast reconstruction, and finally the recent EUSOBI recommendation to limit misdiagnosis in breast imaging.
With a highly qualified and internationally recognized faculty, composed of European and Brazilian breast imaging experts, participants will have the opportunity to learn from opinion leaders in their respective fields. The live theoretical classes will be complemented by an extensive discussion of didactic clinical cases, providing an interactive and immersive educational experience.
Learning Objectives:
– Be aware of updates to the BI-RADS scoring system;
– Understand the value and how to use digital breast tomosynthesis;
– Know how to improve breast cancer staging with contrast imaging techniques;
– Limit the number of errors in breast imaging;
